Cactus Song 03:43
Cinnamon peeler I wish you were nearer But your dust leaves scars My guilty heart will smell But your dust leaves scars My guilty heart will smell I lived with a flower When the rains came we cowered Now you’re thunder and I’m never cold with you Now you’re thunder and I’m never cold with you So meet me in the desert And when we come together Cactus trees will bend Bowing to the comets overhead Cactus trees will bend Bowing to the comets overhead What can you fit into seven? Why did Sarah say yes and– What did the stars do? Why am I thinking about you? What did the stars do? Why am I thinking about you? What did the stars do? Why am I thinking about you?

Holy Names 04:24
Lo, blessed are the meek When, they turn the other cheek Oh holy lord Blessed omnipotent thee Oh holy lord You're begging for mercy from me Oh, sinners ye be praised Thank, god that we weren’t saved Oh holy lord Blessed omnipotent thee Oh holy lord You're begging for mercy from me But I won’t be naming names adding my change When the judgment comes seen it too many times when I die I just want to sleep when I die I just want to sleep Hark, let the angels sing (Ahh-ahh) I won’t, bow to anyone’s king Oh holy lord Blessed omnipotent thee Oh holy lord You're begging for mercy from me But I won’t be naming names adding my change When the judgment comes seen it too many times when I die I just want to sleep when I die I just want to sleep I take this blood of christ He stole this blood of mine Hallelujah my lord blessed omnipotent thee Oh holy lord You're begging for, begging for, mercy from me. But I won’t be naming names adding my change When the judgment comes Seen it too many times when I die I just want to sleep Won’t be naming names adding my change when the judgment comes i’ve seen it too many times when I die I just want to sleep when I die I just want to sleep when I die I just want to sleep.

Tuesday 03:57
It’s another normal Tuesday It’s just us and the rest of the world I will try to muster something But you gotta give it to me in return And the nights have got so helpless That the morning's all that’s left So I’ll wake you for the sunrise And we’ll watch it from your chest You got some video on Quiet like you like I got my headphones on Thinkin at least it’s not a fight It’s not us This I know It’s not us This I know It’s another boring Thursday It’s just us at the end of the world And I would tell you that I miss you But I never even spend my time alone And the nights have got so helpless That the morning's all that’s left So I’ll wake you for the sunrise And we’ll watch it from your chest You got some video on Quiet like you like I got my headphones on Thinkin at least it’s not a fight It’s not us This I know It’s not us This I know It’s not us This I know It’s not us At least I hope It’s not us This I know It’s not us This I know It’s not us This I know It’s not us This I know

about

There is a haunting beauty to the music of Artemisia. Inspired by Appalachian folk harmonies, 80's synth soundtracks, and haunted houses, the trio features tight vocal harmonies that shimmer above the polyrhythmic harp and soaring violin. Drawing inspiration from folk mythology, the natural world, and impending doom, Artemisia crafts wistful melodies that linger long after the final note has passed. Their debut self-titled EP is not only the culmination of the trio coming together–Ariel Wang (violin) joined Alisa Healy (vocals, harp, guitar) and Selene Ross (vocals, ukulele, dulcimer, autoharp, guitar) in the summer of 2021–but also the beginning of a startlingly unique and ethereal new sound.

about

Artemisia Oakland, California

Inspired by Appalachian folk harmonies, 80's synth soundtracks, and ghosts, the music of Artemisia is spaciously eerie, like meeting a lover in a haunted house.

Selene Ross (vocals, ukulele, guitar, autoharp, dulcimer) and Alisa Rose (harp, guitar, vocals) first met in the Berkeley hills in 2018 and were made complete with the addition of Ariel Wang (violin) in 2021.
