Inspired by Appalachian folk harmonies, 80's synth soundtracks, and ghosts, the music of Artemisia is spaciously eerie, like
meeting a lover in a haunted house.
Selene Ross (vocals, ukulele, guitar, autoharp, dulcimer) and Alisa Rose (harp, guitar, vocals) first met in the Berkeley hills in 2018 and were made complete with the addition of Ariel Wang (violin) in 2021.
